The first LATINS CONNECT event was a collaborative effort between nine Hispanic Professional Associations
and a couple of staff members from the San Jose ’s Entrepreneur Center (E-Center). The idea was to create an
environment where the various South Bay Hispanic professional associations would be able to share information
about their services and programs while providing the E-Center an opportunity to showcase their services and facility.

CHispPA has since taken the lead role in the planning, coordinating and running the event in order to make it a fully
comprehensive professional networking event with a complete program, awards ceremony and information expo as well as
corporate sponsorship opportunities.
